M. Wali Ullah is the Claims Associate of Assurance Maritime Bangladesh Limited and has been part of its claims team since 2012. He has nearly two decades of experience in transport industry in which one decade in maritime claims sector.

Wali deals with the claims mostly related to P&I matters arising from cargo shortage & damage, collisions of ships, jetty damage, stowaways, crew injury, illness & death and customs penalty & regulatory fines. He also handles FD&D matters particularly related to bunker quality & quantity disputes. He manages claims to conclusion through lawsuit or arbitration and co-ordinates with the clients and their lawyers across the jurisdictions.

Wali has built up an extensive and impressive local network that allows him to effectively combine resources, capability and connections across the marine industries sectors.

Wali obtained Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Other than Bengali and English, Wali also speaks Hindi and Urdu.
